Kerala's Class 7 scholarship. Two strictly objective papers of fifty marks, ninety minutes apiece: language and social science first, mathematics and basic science second. Both are here, timed exactly as sat.
The two papers
Fifty marks. മലയാളം വ്യാകരണം and സാഹിത്യം; English grammar and a comprehension passage read under time; then history, geography, civics and basic economics, India and Kerala both.

What the paper asks for
USS is wider than it is deep. Paper I alone crosses two languages and three social science subjects, and there is no room to dwell — fifty questions in ninety minutes, and the comprehension passage eats several of those minutes on its own.
The students who do well are not the ones who know more. They are the ones who have practised leaving a question and coming back, which is exactly what the flag and the palette are for.
Mensuration and the data-handling questions take the most marks off Class 7 students, because both reward method over recall and both are slow if the method is shaky.
Geometry, arithmetic and reasoning are separate topics here for that reason. Ten questions and every explanation read is worth more than another full paper.
On the exam itself. Dates, forms and results come from Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, and the pattern is confirmed each year in their notification. Check it there before making plans around a date — this site is for practice, not for announcements.
